The Mind Behind Ishtaa Films
An entrepreneur, writer, and producer known for a strong storytelling vision and creative leadership, she began her journey at just 18 when her story “Unkahi” was adapted into an award-winning short film, earning Best Short Film at the Beijing International Film Festival.
She later served as Creative Producer for ZEE5’s Forbidden Love, where her stories were brought to screen by acclaimed filmmakers Pradeep Sarkar and Priyadarshan. As a producer, she has backed critically recognized films including The Storyteller, Bittersweet, The Rapist, and Ghumguma, showcased at prestigious international festivals such as Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) and the Busan International Film Festival.
Today, through Ishtaa Films, she continues to create impactful cinema and premium streaming content, blending artistic depth with cinematic scale.
